Day 3 of Rally Finland and all that stood in the way of Jari-Matti Latvala’s first win of 2015 were two stages, 28.26km and a gap of 13.2sec in front of team mate Sebastian Ogier.

More than 350,000 fans arrived in Finland to watch the WRC event unfold this week with most in attendance at the penultimate stage to see Latvala take on Ogier.

On the first loop of the morning, Latvala all but sealed victory with a stage win and increasing his lead to almost 15sec over Ogier.

With no incidents to speak of in the final stage, Jari-Matti Latvala was crowned the winner of Rally Finland despite a last ditch effort by Ogier who won the final stage and reducing Latvala’s lead by 4sec.
